Now, we have whole chunks of the economy, hair-on-fire radical Dems preaching Communism, & an avalanche of totalitarianism coming our way, with Republican old guard too complacent or intimidated to stand against it, the old pork & taxation wheel-deal isn't cutting it. Statist careerist GOP'rs who can't get the message & stand firm, against existential threats to our civilization from leftists, one-worlders, & kleptocrats, aren't worth the space they take up. Look at it this way, what if almost ALL GOP Congresspeeps were freshmen or 2 - 3 termers by 2016? What happens to the seniority system then? We have 2 foes: the radical Dems, & the biz-as-usual Establishment Republicans. Broom'em both out.

Let that read: Now, we have whole chunks of the economy being taken over by federal czars & GSE honchos who're not only unelected, but not even properly part of government at all (e.g. the Fed!)

Figure: They gotta go SOMETIME. Ol' Strom Thurmond became the most senior guy in the Senate, but he was so decrepit by then he couldn't even hold the ceremonial office of president pro tem! He spent most of his last term in the hospital.

The Utah Republican Convention did double duty as Groundhog Day on Saturday ensuring another round of politics in terms of the Senate race.

36-year veteran Senator Orrin Hatch came through two rounds of delegate voting with a majority, but not enough of one to walk away with the party nomination.

Hatch took 59.19% of the vote to Tea Party-backed challenger Dan Liljenquist’s 40.81%% thus ensuring a June primary for the man who has been representing Utah in the U.S. Senate for more than three decades.

A sixty percent majority was needed to lock up the nomination.
