It is interesting that Lamar Alexander -- another 'not good enough' Senator -- is also in the picture. Tennessee conservatives are looking for a viable candidate.

You prove the wisdom of Mark Twain when he wrote: “In religion and politics people’s beliefs and convictions are in almost every case gotten at second-hand, and without examination, from authorities who have not themselves examined the questions at issue but have taken them at second-hand from other non-examiners, whose opinions about them were not worth a brass farthing.” For a more accurate and insightful analysis, see the writings of Publius Huldah at https://publiushuldah.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/the-constitution-vattel-and-natural-born-citizen-what-our-framers-knew/.

Sorry Jim, but the founders' words in the Constitution have real meaning. You have bought into the pablum being circulated to make Obama appear to be what he isn't. The constitution sets two requirements/qualifications for the office of the President. He must have attained the age of thirty-five years and he must be "a natural born citizen." A phrase that was known and well understood for more than 100 years prior to the passage of the Constitution. A natural born citizen is one who is born on U.S. soil to two citizen parents. Thus, a Natural Born citizen would not have dual citizenship and an allegiance to any other country.
