"No assumption of genetics
I have no idea of why I am gay. Does it have to be related to some genetics? All I know is that I did not choose my sexual orientation."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You're right about one thing, genetic researchers have spent YEARS trying to determine if there is a 'Gay' gene. After seven years, their answer was a most decided ... NO! Being 'Gay' 'Lesbian', Bisexual', or 'Transgendered' (formerly known as 'Transsexual') IS a choice based on behaviors learned as a youth. Modern Psychology and Psychiatrics, believe that 'Gay', etc. behavior is something that is the result of 'Family Dynamics'...
faith
"Faith" based on the behavior of other people is not faith. Faith can only be doubted if the object of your faith proves to be untrustworthy. How does the bad behavior of my neighbor make me doubt my faith in God?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Faith' is based on YOUR behavior! James said, But someone will say "I have faith and you have works". Show me your faith WITHOUT your works, and I'll show you my faith BY my works. (James 2:18-19, NKJV [emphasis mine]) Jesus said, "You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a...

"This kind of hate column (get the gays / atheists / feminists) almost seem "quaint" in 2009. Like a relic from the past. American society has moved on, yet Mike Adams and the fellow haters still strike the same notes, whip up, milk whatever hate is left to be squeezed out of these bygone crowd-pleasing issues."

The griping, moaning complaining, and carrying on by you and other GLBT's used to be 'cute'. Now it's become little more than mundane!
I said once before that no matter how much you whine and grouse about it, and make revolting remarks at straights, they will NEVER accept you as...

Lilly, nothing you say makes much sense, It's just open complaining. So, when you learn the fine nuances of social discourse, then we'll be here for you!
The rest of you, just ignore ... unless she actually serves, for you, the likeliness of a mental punching bag!
As for me, I'm just gonna ignore her!

"You cannot have healthcare reform without tort reform..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the Government really manages to take over the system, nobody will have to worry about tort reform ... you won't be able to sue the Government!
Oh Well!!!
I know some people in the Dallas area associated with 'Zola Levitt Ministries' and the church that most of them attend. Most of these individuals are 'Messianic Jews' and might not considered squirrel as 'Kosher'
You could contact someone in the office at: staff@levitt.com!
"The bottom line is Civil Rights in terms of Slavery and Women's Rights were fought against the BIBLE and the fundamental RELIGIOUS establishment. AND they lost both battles."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It never ceases to amaze me how the people who are obviously the least familiar with the Bible are the ones who are most likely to try and quote it!
Nowhere in the Bible does it give place to treatment of women as second-class people. In fact, in Acts 10:34 it says, "Then Peter opened his mouth and said:"In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality."" Jesus, Himself, noted the mistreatment of women by the Scribes...
Winds shifting on gay marriage
You see, nothing they can say or do surprises or shocks me. They know that! I've been there! I still remember when I "came out of the closet". I'm not going to satisfy their ideas that the heterosexual lifestyle is the one that does not fulfill because IT is the unhealthy lifestyle. But they know in their hearts and minds that it is they who are 'socially unacceptable'. This is the reason for the...
Winds shifting on gay marriage
There is another aspect to this entire issue of homosexuality, is it choice ... or is it nature? I thank I can answer that dispute quite handily!
Besides the matters of Gay, Lesbian, and Transgendered (formerly referred to as 'Transsexuals), there is the issue of the 'Bisexual' When I say that I say that I was Gay, I actually meant to say that I 'was' Bi.
Bisexuals are treated something like outcasts in the Gay community, being called "Creatures Of Opportunity" "Acey-ducey" "one who gets it whatever he can". As you can see, it is all a matter of...
