Remember that US voters chose the party that is pressing this global warming foolishness. The issues were clear in November, they are more clear now, and our elected officials continue to press for rapid action based upon the fraud. Isn't it time to realize that we will get what we want as a democracy? We want redistribution, one-world rule, and a return to serfdom. We will get it, and you know it. All these complaints are a waste of time. Forget it!

The global warming enthusiasts announced melting ice caps, rising oceans, and increasing storm activity all resulting from the steady rise in temperatures. More than ten years have passed and none of this has happened. If their ideas had been based upon evidence, they would would raise questions about their science. Now we see that their ideas were never science-based but were religion and self-serving politics from the start. I read the news coming from the world media here in China where I teach at a large university and a medical school. Whenever the subject comes up, I advise my students that the popular news media in the West no longer provide investigational reporting. They disseminate opinion and mix it with news. I specifically advise them that I do not watch CNN or read NY Times. They are predictable, boring, propaganda mills.

A Moslem murders Americans, and we talk about it as though it is newsworthy. This is happening all over the world, all the time, as part of the deliberate and announced program of Islam. This is expected, normal, and predictable behavior.

Thank you for this thoughtful commentary. If a person walks with the Lord, he will not let his eyes or his mind be drawn to such evil. Pornography is a symptom of the general departure of America from the Bible and respect for its Author. This tragic departure includes religious leaders who use their faith as a business but who do not know their Maker.

Remember that these people who are causing such anger with their lies as they rush further into Marxism were voted into office in a democracy. Our people chose them, they knew their platform when they voted for them, and they will continue to support them as the US slides into poverty and tyranny. I teach in China. Our students laugh at Americans as they embrace the tragic mistakes that China abandoned years ago. China is prepared to replace the US and they will do it well.

Why does Sowell always sound so brilliant in his editorials? Simple. He recognizes truth and he is willing to present it. Why do our politicians teach us the opposite of what Sowell presents? Politicians do not deal in truth; they deal in beliefs, hopes, and promises. Not truth.
