I love how the author wants to keep the birther issue alive and wants to blame liberals for its continuation as an issue.

The edit involving Tom Price was a bit confusing. I don't know if it means it was dishonest. I thought the video was funny.

The fact that there are hundreds of comments on this post indicates that this "issue" has worked to bring us together. HA!

Look, racists and nut-cases are going to cling to conspiracies, that's noting new. It's sad but not unsual.

Asside from campaign contributions, why are so many in congress opposed to single payer?

Single payer is the type of system used in all the countries that have better health care systems than we have. According to the World Health Organization we rank 37th in health care. We are barely better than Cuba, yet we pay more than twice as much as any other country.

Every person deserves to see a GP every year. As it is now, that's not happening and our country is much worse because of that.

We need single payer
The best part of the forum was at the end when the panelists allowed audience members to ask questions. There were doctors in attendance and two of them basically refuted every point made by Price, Gingrey, et al.

We need a single payer health care system.

We pay more than twice what any other country pays for health care, yet according to rankings done by the World Health Organization, we rank 37th. All the countries that rank near the top have some form of single payer.

We need single payer.
Yes, according to the data compiled by NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association)September was the 2nd warmest on record.

If global warming isn't real, why does every accredited university science program in this country teach the facts that it's mostly caused by human activity and will cause catastrophic changes to our planet?

Why do you people cling to cheap shots at Al Gore? For God's (and our country's) sake, please read the IPCC report.

Actually, President Obama has never said "Republicans have no ideas". If you do a Nexus/Lexus search you will see for yourself. Also, if you do a search on the White House web site you will find that he's never used the phrase "no ideas" in reference to Republicans on any page on that site.
