Time for Term Limits

Term limits wouldn't be up for discussion if the electorate took the time to inform themselves about the candidate instead of voting for the candidate with the R or D following their name on the ballot. Do we need term limits or legitimate voter qualifications to enable one to vote? We have the most unqualified voters I've seen in my lifetime. Maybe we should focus on elevating the requirements necessary to obtain a voter registration card so that those who vote actually have the ability to think and read about and comprehend what their candidate stands for instead of voting on charisma they might vote on substance.
