Obama’s Campaign about Nothing

We are wasting time considering what a politician says. Would someone with access please gather all relevent documents with Obama's signature? This is the true information for our judgement as to his agenda and competence.

Governments are Never Cheap

Has anyone ever calculated the cost of the income tax? My guess is about 60%. There's the cost of the IRS in administering and collecting the tax, but also there's the cost to each payer; setting up accounts, doing the accounting and filing and much more.. If one does his own taxes, give him the salary of a CPA. I bet the cost of a flat tax or consumption tax would be under 5%. All this so that our rulers can know who is worth what, where they are, etc. Please, someone, prove me wrong.
The Asians that I know around here, the SF peninsula, are intensely concerned with providing their children with the best education available and building a portfolio where they remain free of any major debt, like a mortgage. I have been amazed at their integrity. It puts me to shame. On the other sice, I know only one African American who has similar objectives and is fairly successful. I rarely see in the newspaper a gang of Asians on a crime spree. I think what we have here is a clash of sub-cultures being fed by those who benefit from such distrust. Hatred is a political asset, to be cultivated, defined and readied when dissent is needed in order to distract, i.e. control, the population. Those who see this must must commit to trust.

Well said. I like to use the phrase: "Hatred is a Political Asset." It is potential energy similar to that in gunpowder. All they have to do is aim it and fire it when a social situation arises. It is not tolerable that the words (the triggers) be used too often and lose their impact.

Did Dr. King look solely to the political establishment to oppose racism and promote opportuity for blacks? Or did he speak to all; blacks, whites or anythings, with the intention to inspire individual responsibility and family values?

Should we be using the appelation 'Progressives' in place of 'Liberal?' It is obvious that love and dedication to family are under attack; but, why? When 'they' decide that a vast population reduction is in order, where will 'they' recruit the front line personnel to fire the machine guns and continue to fire even though two of the elderly men or women standing beside the ditch, could be their mother and father?
How do we separate all of the political gobbledegook that was added after Jesus lived? Any powerful idea that is gaining the attention of the common man makes the human masters drool. It becomes a simple matter of capturing and directing their attention and relegating that power to themselves, the masters, as "God." I believe that Jesus was like the other 'teachers' who have found an enslaved population and shown them the way to freedom and prosperity through mutual respect and cooperation. My faith is that Jesus is still here and accessible by anyone who reaches. And that the presence of God may be felt anytime. The rest s a human construction and like any structure, it may be used for good and for evil.

Herman Cain: Rocket Fuel for America

I enjoy listening to Herman Cain. But I am waiting for someone to broach the real issue. The governments of this country are becoming more and more corrupt. Some exceptions are the state and local governments where there is strong citizen involvement. I am waiting for a presidential candidate to admit that the federal government is quickly becoming very corrupt as obvious in it's use of Force, Threats, Deceit and Stealth to control and enslave the population. Once corruption is admitted, the clean up programs required are few and clear: Provide public access to all government communications and decisions and punish deceit. Enact the gold standard to prevent manipulation of our currency. There are more, but these are the important ones.

Until now, most radical Islamist attacks have used a splinter group as a scapegoat in order to deflect the identity of the country which acted in abetting, planning and financing the crime. As soon as a nation is identified as the origin of delivery, whether ICBM or camel, that nation as a whole becomes 'the enemy.' All citizens, in fact, all who continue to dwell within its borders are considered abettorss and may be killed in a counterattack. If the USA or one of its allies is attacked by Iran, I should hope that even Ron Paul would recognize his responsibility to counter attack. One submarine could erase Iran and no one would then dare attack our soil.
