The Dr. gives a heart-felt, coherent, well modulated talk with simple statements (w/o teleprompter) to the monstrously inept policies brought forth by this administration and it's surrounding braying jackasses and he's taken to task for "being inappropriate" at the Prayer Breakfast. Well, what better place than a Prayer Breakfast? I'm sure most of those heathens didn't come for anything more than a photo-op but the good Doctor prefaced his talk with the source for his remarks with quotes from the Bible. CNN even had a Candy Crowley moderated panel to discuss whether Dr Carson's talk was out of place. Why? Because Obama had to sit there and take it. I'm surprised he didn't cover his ears and scream, "I DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO YOU!"

My understanding is that besides the ease of collection the Fair Tax eliminates all other taxes. It also gets the underground economy paying...of which there 100s of thousands! Drug dealers, hookers and pimps, burglars, shade tree mechanics, baby sitters, tutors, self-employed Musicians and on and on...No loopholes! If Bill gates buys a $7 million yacht he pays 23% tax. if a self-employed musician buys a $400 trailer to haul his gear, he pays 23% tax. A very simple way to tax. And we immediately get rid of the IRS and their bullies! No more income tax.

I see the Obamas retreating to a high walled compound in Hawaii, with their secret service bodyguards (complements of US taxpayers) where he'll work at getting his GED and taking basic courses in math while hoping for a visit from someone with money to give for his resurgence.
