In honor of Valentine's Day this goes out to all the ladies. Yeah you too, Ann. One of the greatest piano parts ever written.

You're kidding! This is boring trivia - no compositional skills at all. A great piano (keyboard) part? Bach, Handel, Scarlatti, Clementi, Mozart, Chopin, Rachmaninoff,... LoL!

Oh all right you don't like Styx how about this? This tickles me pink. I only have one question though. When she comes down the catwalk notice how the secret service agent follows her down. Now is he protecting Bubba from Lady Gaga or the other way around?

Quit while you're behind. Lady Gaga? No wonder you like Styx.

Quit while you're behind.

Just what I was thinking.

Why would I watch anymore trash? No I don't like what is passed off as "music" for uncultured kids who never grow up.

Here's the best version of this song I have ever heard.

Sorry, Roy, Styx still sux. But, minus the original vocals, the tune's not bad.

Used to have a computer programmer working for me who told the story about how, when he was working as a Styx roadie, one night all of the roadies walked off because they just couldn't stand the "music" anymore. Probably apocryphal, but still kind of a funny tale.

That's why all I posted was the piano part.

Bleah. Styx. Are you kidding?

Roy, all of your musical taste is in your mouth! This is one of those songs that you heard on the radio and tried to get out of your head the rest of the day. ;o)

Liberals ignored my book Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama throughout the fall. Now that I'm safely home from my book tour, they feel free to jabber on about their make-believe history of the civil rights movement with abandon.

In the hackiest of all hacky articles, Sam Tanenhaus, the man responsible for ruining The New York Times Book Review, has written a cover story in The New Republic, titled: "Original Sin: Why the GOP is and will continue to be the party of white people."
