The Trump Rebellion

Trump has what it takes to grab Obama by the ear and kick him in the rear for a few rounds. The GOP does not. He's as entertaining as Ross Perot, maybe more entertaining. I'm tired of boring RINO nothingburgers like Dole & McCain. Trump would be a refreshing change from the lesser-of-two-evils trap.

Liberalism is running out of steam. They've run out of other people's money, and they have run out of new lies and excuses. Their argument has degenerated to a few stock phrases: "you stink", "neener-neener", "GOP bad", "You raciss", "gimme your money" . . . .

Paul Krudman comes to mind. It's actually a consortium , the Journ-0-listers, MSNBC/ABC/CBS/NBC/WaPo/NYT/LAT/McClatchy etc.

You're dealing with Democrats, which means you'll never get a truthful statement from them. There haven't been any cuts yet, just reductions in the rate of spending increases. Even when you get them cornered, and reductions in the rate of spending increase are inevitable, you'll hear the "Meat axe" argument. Totally phony. Government waste and fraud runs through every element of government. It's metastatic cancer. You cannot isolate waste, fraud, or corruption. You have to make across the board cuts. Government follows the 80-20 rule. Eighty percent is waste, fraud, and corruption, 20% is arguably worthwhile (without arguing the point of whether foodstamps are worthwhile, for example). The "Meat Axe" strategy is the only...

A good negotiator never whines about the deal he just made. Obama called the GOP "hostage takers". Bad form. At a certain point, even the GOP will balk at dealing with him except in terms of carefully chosen ultimatum - the deal he can't refuse. By definition, politics is negotiation. Obama has no experience in this realm. Community organizers use bullying and intimidation. Law instructors are not required to negotiate with students. If he had ever actually practiced law, he would probably have been exposed to negotiations. Obama believes that the magic of his oratory will transform disagreement into resolution. King Solomon he isn't. It doesn't help that his political base is ideological, disconnected from the...

White glove country club elitists don't want to get their hands dirty. It's one of the reasons why the GOP needs to go. If Americans want to restore freedom, they need to re-learn what the Marines learned in the island fighting of WWII: if you don't get down in the mud and rip their guts out, you die. Politics is war, Washington is the #1 enemy of freedom, we have an illegitimate one-party political system, and liberal fascism is the ideology of the ruling class. Liberal fascism wants to destroy America, just as Islam wants to destroy America, and it will, if it is not destroyed first. Victory for freedom requires us to do whatever it takes, whatever we can do, every day, in everything we do.

GOP, Don't Fool Us This Time

I don't think the GOP is going to change much. They've never repealed a single socialist program. The GOP will have to be replaced with another party, a real conservative/libertarian party that does not represent the ruling class elites, is not obsessed with warmongering, and recognizes that social issues are none of the government's business. This election will probably doom the GOP, because they will fail to follow through. The sooner, the better. The level of corruption, money, and power in Washington is just too much. As soon as the mainstream propaganda machine focuses on them, they'll fold. There's only one Chris Christie.
Whitman is a clueless corporate elitist. There are reputable cleaning services available - you don't need to have "maids" anymore. Isn't it a little logically inconsistent to expect people who come here illegally to comply with the law after they get here? Can anyone find me a single Mexican who has jumped through all the hoops to become a legal resident? They'd have to be an idiot, when all they have to do is walk across the border. Whitman should have demanded to see her immigration documents, but of course, they would probably be forgeries. There is nothing racist in assuming that any Mexican or central american who immigrated after the Ted Kennedy amnesty of 1986 is here illegally. To assume otherwise is to assume that...

The best solution is to retire the GOP and replace it with a libertarian conservative party that abandons Big-Government solutions to social issues as well as tax /spending/regulation and foreign interventionism (nation building). No third party!
