Obama has an impressive list of accomplishments! First President to apply for college aid as a foreign student then denies he was a foreigner. First President to have a social security number from a state he has never lived in. First President to preside over a cut to the credit-rating of the United States. First President to violate the War Powers Act. First President to be held in contempt of court for illegally obstructing oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. First President to defy a Federal Judge's court order to cease implementing the Health Care Reform Law. First President to require all Americans to purchase a product from a third party. First President to spend a trillion dollars on 'shovel-ready' jobs when there

Obama Lunges Toward Global Government

It is time to put in writing exactly what Executive Orders can and cannot be used for. Originally in 1789 they were to help officers and agencies of the executive branch manage the operations within the federal government itself. Now many presidents use them for political power to put their own laws, rules, and regulations into place that Congress will not pass as laws and many are unconstitutional. Executive Orders should be limited to only the operation of the executive branch of government or for national emergency situations such as natural disaster or if our nation is attacked when Congress is not in session.

Just think if we abolished the Departments of Labor, Education, Transportation, Agriculture, Energy, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, and Federal Reserve. Then we could limit Congress to only six months and they would not get a pension since they would be considered part time help. All of these departments should be handled at the State level and they would do a better job. Another thing is that none of these departments are listed in our Constitution, so really they are all unconstitutional. We could get rid of debt in less than five years, get rid of crooked politians, have a balanced budget, and better military. One can dream can’t one?
If I lived in Tombstone I would start a petition to secede from the union so that States Rights would be restored. The federal government could back off and allow repairs or the federal government would become null and void. Remember the 10th Amendment? The powers not delegated to the United States by the Consitution, nor prohibited by it to the States are reserved to the States respectively or TO THE PEOPLE.
