Why the War Party Fears Hagel

Dead wrong. Tel Aviv will be a target, and will ne nuked from the ground (not by missile delivery). There is no forensics which can determine where a nuke came from when it is carried to it's target in a suitcase. If you can't see an Islamic nation nuking Tel Aviv I think you're wrong. Your logic only suggests they wouldn't nuke Jerusalem, but there's lots of Israeli targets that Muslims would delight in incinerating while pretending they didn't do it.

'What about tomorrow', which is what people have been saying every day for 20+ years...

Are you forgetting about tomorrow?

If the muzzies want to nuke Israel so bad, then why haven't they done it already? After all, Pakistan has nukes. Or have you conveniently forgotten about that?

In the fortnight since Chuck Hagel's name was floated for secretary of defense, we have witnessed Washington at its worst.

Who is Chuck Hagel?

Born in North Platte, Neb., he was a squad leader in Vietnam, twice wounded, who came home to work in Ronald Reagan's 1980 campaign, was twice elected U.S. senator, and is chairman of the Atlantic Council and co-chair of the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.

To The Weekly Standard's Bill Kristol, however, Hagel is a man "out on the fringes," who has a decade-long record of "hostility to Israel" and is "pro-appeasement-of-Iran."
