When you get used to over spending, there is no cure without cutting back. If cutting back is painful, one needs to remember that continued overspending leads to bankruptcy which is a whole lot more painful. Politicians (Dem and Rep) that couldn't comprehend the concept of living within their means brought us to this place where there is no way out without pain. Thinking there is a way out of debt while continuing do spend as much as one desires is the height of insanity, and anyone who puts their faith in such policy is an embarrassment to common sense.

How many times do you hear of diet plans where you never have to stop over-eating? There are people who believe such claims. Apparently fools like this now represent a voting majority of our nation's electorate. This alone is a very depressing thought for our future.
