People say lots of words in a the course of a several minute statement. Meanings are not summed by any single included word. Listen to them all ... they're all on you-tube ... spoken across multiple occasions over several weeks. There are multiple explanations why some people can't tell what a person is communicating, such as a lack of fluency, or just plain stupidity ... but in this case I suspect a simple unwillingness to accept ordinary politically calculated deceit. Of course, deceit could be either on the side of the a original speaker as well as those attempting to retell what was meant.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier is out with stunning analysis and evidence today showing CBS News deliberately covered for President Obama on the issue of whether he called the 9/11 attack in Benghazi a terrorist attack. As Townhall readers are well aware, President Obama and Mitt Romney went toe-to-toe over Obama's non-classification of the attack as a terrorist act during the second presidential debate in Hempstead New York on October 16.

For the record, debate moderator Candy Crowley walked back her comments and was incorrect in her assertion.
