Every person standing in line on Wednesday was a potential Romney voter, and a simple statement of support would've inspired the grassroots base, and secured their votes in ways nothing else could've. But his idiot "moderate" advisors keep pretending that the only issue voters care about is money. WRONG = EXACTLY RIGHT I'm already tired of this moderate creep and his advisors treating the American people like a bunch of greedy bastids who care only about tax cuts and money ... and nothing else. "Just give us our tax cuts and we don't care if the culture (and the country) goes to hell."

That is a sign of contempt for the American people.

Certainly all liberals are vipers and moral lepers who view traditional Americans with disdain, but make no mistake about it, there are Republican elites as well who have no less contempt for the American people, and someone who acts like all we care about is money is no less disdainful of the American people than some liberal elite who thinks they just need to give the peasants more handouts to keep them happy.

Sadly, you are correct. Mitt is deluding himself if he thinks cultural issues don't matter to voters, and won't be an issue in the campaign. The left and the msm will make sure that they are, and Mitt will be asked repeatedly about these matters. That's why he should've had the sense to come out strongly in support of Dan Cathy, a man who's got more guts than Romney ever dreamed of having.
