In response to:

The Real Root of Atheists' Anti-Christmas Rage

DHE First let me say that I apologize for the tone I took with you earlier, its just that I get tired of the Jon Stewart's who are are so dismissive of people who are troubled by the war of Christmas, which again is really just a small part of a larger effort to de-Christianize western culture. But lets put that aside for now, what I'd like to know is, were you a fan (admirer) of Andrew Breitbart? I ask that because he was Jewish and he was no doubt more socially liberal than me, so I'm guessing he's someone you might have had more in common with, culturally and philosophically, than me. Not that you agreed with him 100% of the time, but for the most part was he someone whose opinion you respected? And this is not a trap.

I also what to re-post the response I just left you in the other thread, in response to your wishing me a Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you too, DHE, and I am genuinely sorry for the tone that I took with you earlier. It was totally uncalled for and I sincerely apologize.

DHE, I'm assuming you had to leave, so let me tell you up front why I asked about your opinion of Breitbart. Although I am more socially conservative than Breitbart, I was actually a big admirer of his, I though he was absolutely brilliant, particularly as a political tactician.

Well because I was such an admirer of Andrew's, when he talked about his epiphany, the moment it all made sense too him, the moment it all became clear and he was like, "okay, I get it now, now I see what happened", and he was referring to the moment he discovered Cultural Marxism (AKA Political Correctness) and its origins (The Frankfurt School), I immediately set out to discover whatever it was that he discovered, and I had the same epiphany.

That said, I think you're very intelligent and I think you would have a similar epiphany if you saw what he saw, and subsequently what I saw, and I would be more than happy to share that with you if you are ever curious to learn about it. There are some good videos that can get you started, and lots of literature, but really the videos alone would suffice, after that I suspect you might see the culture war in a different light, as Andrew did and as I did, but I don't want to force it on you, you just let me know if you ever want to learn what this is all about and I'll be all too happy to oblige you.
Why do some atheists embarrass themselves year after year trying to eradicate Christmas from American culture? Why do they make themselves societal hemorrhoids during this hallowed season? Is it because they are crusaders for equality, secularism’s saviors and humanism’s heroes? I’m sure that’s what they tell themselves when they’re pouting on their couches all alone on Christmas Eve after every single one of their friends has dumped them for being a rabid jackass.

I believe, however—and I could be wrong—that the reason some rage against the machine is that they hate God and love their sin, and bringing up Jesus in...
