"Besides, Dobie, the Dems would HATE Zippy because of his free market beliefs. He can't be happy with those freeloading thieves." = Yeah but notice how right away he comes here with his "I'm socially liberal" declaration, which means the next thing you know he'll be lobbying for an embrace of Cultural Marxism in the GOP, so this way we can have NO PARTY in this country that opposes decadence and the tearing down of institutions. We don't need his vote that bad. Thats too high a price to pay. We already have one party that promotes Cultural Marxism and they've done enough damage to this country without any help from us.

Update Saturday 6:17 am ET: The Romney campaign has officially announced through a press release that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin will be Mitt Romney's vice presidential running mate.

Sonic Boom (via NBC News):

Campaign sources indicate that Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin is Mitt Romney's vice presidential pick, NBC News reported Friday night.  Earlier Romney's campaign said in a statement that it would announce a running mate at 9 a.m. ET Saturday morning in Norfolk, Va., just before he begins a four-day bus tour in the battleground state.
