When you talk to these people in those terms, in culture war terms, AS REAGAN DID, thats how you get them to cross-over as the REAGAN DEMOCRATS did for Reagan. The problem is, Romney has nothing but disdain for social conservatives and he avoids those issues like the plague, just like he refused to comment on the whole Chick-Fil-A situation that was a hanging curveball just waiting to be smacked out of the park. So Romney is right FOR ROMNEY ... he definitely cannot connect with lower income voters ... but that is HIS FAILING, not an indication that such people cannot be persuaded to our side.
