Hmmm....let's see, if we were take a big 10 foot x 10 foot parachute and deploy it behind every NASCAR car in the next race, plus take out the gasoline engine and replace it with an electric one found in your avg hybrid, that would be a good example of what the Democrats in Congress and the OBAMA administration has had on the economy since their housing/mortgage bubble collapsed the economy. The Obamacare parachute which would be a large 2nd parachute deployed immediately next to the first one. That would be the best analogy I can find for what leftists have done to the economy for years now.

Living here in AZ, for years now, I've been wondering how roughly 1/2 of the American people can be so stupid as to believe the Left wing and their lies in demanding to take away our rights to keep/bear arms.....all the while, we have armed drug traffickers, armed human smugglers, and even terrorists, encroaching our southern borders on a daily basis. Based on how badly CNN is doing these days, there are more people watching Sham Wow infomercials than typically are watching Piers Morgan and his nazi-like and uneducated views. He'll be sent packing soon enough. Even a crappy network like CNN needs to have SOME viewers.

Keep in mind, this is Kirsten Powers who is a Democrat stating this. The fact that she is willing to say this shows that I think she's finally realizing some of the real faults of this president. AND, the fact that Fox News Channel has leftists like Kirsten on their shows (pretty much every single show they interview and allow leftists to talk) shows that Fox News is the only major network that allows both sides of the political aisle to have their views represented. I only agree with you in regards to the Waco incident which was horific lunacy on part of the Clinton white house, and yes, there is some collateral damage in wars which is unfortunate. BUT to say that wars we fight to keep ourselves safe in this country, such as wars in Afghanistan and Iraq etc are wrong, I completely disagree. We have to actively fight terrorism where its leadership is located, which is in the middle east as well as any cells located here or nearby. We can't afford to simply sit still and do nothing, as the terrorists will grow ever larger and eventually they will be attacking us again on our own soil. Pacifism is not the answer to terrorism.

I disagree with the commentator when it comes to armed guards in schools. I think it is time we wake up to the fact that we have deranged hate-filled evil out in this world who want to do our kids' harm so as to make some point about their worthless lives. We need to realize that "gun free zones" are an absolute abysmal failure and we need to have armed guards in each/every school to make it known to this deranged criminal element that they won't have a target rich environment like they currently have.
