We had a chance to lay him off in November, but too may "principled", and I use the term loosely, conservatives sat home instead of voting for the lesser evil. Yes it is still evil, but it ain't Obama. You folks happy now? In November 2014 and 2016, please get off your fat behinds and vote.

And until then, thanks to the likes of you and yours, we have suffer the likes of Obama. If hegetts to replace some Supreme Court Justices, like Scalia and Thomas, then it won't matter how many "conservative" Presidents you elect, the country will have a liberal slant for generations. So tank you very much for you bloody purist voting.

I can disagree with you about Conservatives not voting for this reason.
At our polling place in Ca. my wife and I commented several times that we had NEVER seen this many people lined up to vote. And we live in a very conservative area.
Now this is no factual analysis but I give the "stolen votes election" theory some weight as a result.

The numbers don't lie IAS. Obama got less votes total than he did in '08. Which means Romney got less voted than McCain did in '08. Which means less people voted overall for both sides. Your district may have had increased turnout, but nation-wide, less people "bothered", probably for the reason dnha posted. My wife and youngest daughter both voted, but had qualms because "they didn't really LIKE Romney". I, of course, jumped all over them and shamed them into casting their vote using the premise that any conservative non-vote was essentially an Obama vote. Apparntly, not enough people choked down their dislike for Romney. If we had had even AS MANY republican votes as '08, we would be saying "President Romney" right now...

So although thousands of federal employees may be furloughed after the sequester takes place, don’t fear, President Obama won’t see a pay cut. The Budget Control Act, which was signed into law by Obama in 2011, will take affect on March 1st. The President will be exempt from the effects of the sequestration, which he has threatened will be devastating.

A report published last month by the Congressional Research Service--“Budget Sequestration and Selected Program Exemptions and Special Rules"--identifies certain programs that are exempt from sequestration and lays out special rules that govern the sequestration of others.
