He's sorry? He's not even close to how sorry he will be if McCaskill wins and the Republicans miss taking the Senate by one. Hope he has an apology ready for that.

What if he pulls an Arlen Spector? Remember how much the Republican Est. backed that traitor to the Conservative cause? Akin should go and the entire Conservative/ Tea Party group should ignore him completely, That means not putting him on their shows as Huckleberry keeps doing. He is just another part of the Rep. Establishment making money at our expense. To me Heckleberry is not much better than Akin. Any minute McCain/Boehner/Graham will feel the need for attention and get in on the action.

No one actually believes that Todd Akin is pro-rape.  His problem is that he spouted off biologically false nonsense and used the term "legitimate rape" while discussing the subject on television.  This suggests that Akin is either terribly misinformed, profoundly ill-equipped to run a competent Senate campaign, or not especially bright.  Or perhaps some combination of the three.  When one is forced to begin a political ad with a "clarification" that "rape is an evil act," one is in very...
