Judge, you're as cogent as always, yet I respectfully disagree this is the disaster you make it out to be. As I explain in the monograph linked below, regardless of Roberts' motivation, he also motivated millions of conservatives. As they did in the 2010 elections after Congress pulled its Sunday Night healthcare hijacking, WEe The People will now overturn the law by assuring that Progressives lose the White House, Senate, and next few SCOTUS appointments: http://www.thisbloodlessliberty.com/2012/06/john-roberts-you-sly-fox.html

If the sly little fox Roberts had stayed with the conservatives and beaten Obamacare this time, the Progressives would win a second term for Obama and likely keep the Senate. If you think the first Obama term was bad, a second would be living Hell.

No, this was just the shot in the arm needed by the Tea Party and Ron Paul Revolution; both had been losing momentum lateely. Now they have fire in their can once more, thanks to the cunning Chief Justice Roberts.

So by the logic of you two, it's ok to violate the constitution if it saves the constitution? Somehow i don't think so. A judge is supposed to follow the letter of the law, not be swayed by partisan politics as Roberts seems to have been.

Of the 17 lawyers who have served as chief justice of the United States, John Marshall -- the fourth chief justice -- has come to be known as the "Great Chief Justice." The folks who have given him that title are the progressives who have largely written the history we are taught in government schools. They revere...
