The premise that number of viewers equates to support is misleading. I tuned in to Obama, only because I need to hear what kind of lies and divisive tactics he's spewing so I can be an informed voter. I bet many Romney supporters in the TV audience were doing the same. If we're going to use Nielsen Ratings as a poll, might as well warm up the American Idol lines, too! His 2 accomplishments: Bin Laden is dead; GM is alive. These are done. Neither will need to be repeated if they were both done right the first time. I don't think he's told us what he planned for an encore yet.

This past week, all the mainstream media could talk about were the great speeches by Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton. However, we did not hear much commentary on the President’s speech. Was it perhaps because his message fell flat or has the magic of 2008 simply disappeared?
