But what has Walker done to stop the moral collapse that is the cause of Wisconsin's financial problems? Once people (especially governing officials) can engage in sexual immorality at will, it's hard to convince them that it's wrong to steal and lie... Walker's done nothing to stem the collapse of Christian morality as far as I can tell... I'm convinced that "fiscal conservatism", (meaning the desire to address the financial and avoid the moral) is a political band-aid applied to an injury requiring transplant surgery. Walker will be a footnote in the historic collapse of our nation unless he allows the Living God of the Christian Bible inform his leadership. And by the way dear reader... so will you.

Yes, but the people choose the leader. If the people are Godless they will choose Godless leaders, so the burden of producing a Godly society falls on believers.

Andy:True and that is my point. Scott Walker is a Godly leader. A tree is known by it's fruit, and in less than 2years Scott Walker has a 300+million dollar surplus from a 3billion dollar deficit, while fighting a recall. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Humility comes before honor and pride comes before a fall.

Scott Walker is a Godly leader and should be considered for president in 2016.

Yes, but, the Bible tells us godly leaders build up a society, and ungodly leaders destroy a society. Godly leaders who fail to transmit their faith into ACTIONS, WORDS, and DEEDS while they govern are NOT 'godly' leaders at all, but simply closet hypocrites. A godly leader is God's minister. An un-godly leader is the devil's agent.

dmc: I agree, but he's only a governor not a savior. We already have a Savior. Give to Caesar what is Caesar"s and give to God what is God's. Shouldn't you take up the issue of moral decay with every Christian pastor?

As I posted below, "We need leaders who fear God more than they fear men, then we'll get our country back."

We are only responsible for your own relationship with Jesus Christ. We are asked to stay in the vine and then we will bear fruit. The fruit is produced by the Lord, not us.

This time I should’ve been the one listening.

But listening can be tough sometimes when you’re an analyst and a commentator, and people around the country – listeners, readers, media, candidates, causes, businesses, etc. – come to you to find out why things are happening and what may happen next. Analysis and commentary is one of the few things in life I’m really good at. My car expertise begins and ends with changing a tire. Any toy that comes with the phrase “some assembly required” my kids immediately take to my wife. And when that much-anticipated Zombie apocalypse finally happens...
