Dr. Sowell, I'm so glad you referenced the story from Florida Atlantic University, which really drives home the main point of your article. Had it not been for the public outcry - more specifically, Fox News running that story - the student in question would've been expelled from the university. Kudos to Fox News and others for standing up for that young man and shining a light on the "moral dry rot" within academia that you so eloquently write about.

As a conservative black man, I agree with you 100%. That Kool-Aid laced "buyers remorse" must be killing 'em!

These black "leaders" are a day late and a dollar short. Where were they during Obama's first term, when black unemployment was high even then? Oh, I forgot, they spent Obama's first term high off of the "We Finally Have a Black President" Kool-Aid, which prevented them from taking an OBJECTIVE, UNCLOUDED VIEW of his administration's policies. Had they not been so ideologically drunk, they would've seen how much of a failure Obama's first term was. BUT WAIT!!! The high didn't wear off; in fact, they downed even more Kool-Aid, to get the necessary buzz to put him BACK in office last November for another four-year term. Too little, too late, Black Hustleratti. Shut up and sit down!
