Since her security detail was eliminated, I guess the government saw this area as safe. I wonder when they will blame a video for the murder. Or will they blame America for not allowing open borders?

The war between the Mexican government and drug cartels is still raging with the war's latest victim being female Mayor Maria Santos Gorrostieta, who was beaten, burned, tortured and dumped for dead on the side of the road. Before being killed, Gorrostieta had been attacked twice by cartels for daring to challenge them. The third attack they waged on her, was her last.
