Law enforcement is generally consumed with such mundane duties as burglary investigation/documentation, crowd control, traffic enforcement and drug interdiction. Although is its perceived as part of their job description, for law enforcement, the prevention of crime is low on the list of responsibilities. The media, along with elected and appointed officials, continue to spend inordinate amounts of time promoting various "feel good" means for protecting oneself from acts of violence. Arming oneself while possessing a concealed carry permit, provides the best all around protection when confronting the "unexpected". "Waiting" for law enforcement to arrive while a criminal act is in progress often results in injury or death to the victim(s).

Project Veritas is out with a damning video showing police officers from multiple departments saying "you're on your own" when it comes to home invasions. The video focuses on New Jersey and New York, where it is nearly impossible to obtain a firearm. In New Jersey you must obtain a permit to purchase a Biden approved shotgun.
