Add to your list for the under thirty crowd. The use of one's brain for critical thinking has been replaced with what is commonly referred to as "group think". Group think is based on the premise that emotional feelings, dreams and wishes replace facts, history and/or the use of logic during the decision-making process. Observe a twenty something purchasing a "new" pair of jeans which look like they were attacked by a lawnmower - for seventy-eight dollars already. You get the picture.....
