Burglary should not be a death sentence. This poor man, though I know he did the wrong thing, was shot who knows HOW many times by this hysterical woman.

You consider legal protection for attackers as taking precedence over the victims rights to defend themselves??????????????????????? The consequence of self defense is not a sentence. Sentences are only handed out by courts. By your logic a victim should not receive a death sentence from an attacker either. Whose rights deserve legal priority ... victim or attacker? Why do you seem to find this confusing?

How would SHE have known his intentions?

What gives him any right to invade and terrorize her home?

I thought it was evident from the article that she and the guy didnt know each other.

Psychotic killers breaking in to murder people willy nilly only happens in slasher films and on "Criminal Minds"

A woman hiding in her attic with children shot an intruder multiple times before fleeing to safety Friday.

The incident happened at a home on Henderson Ridge Lane in Loganville around 1 p.m. The woman was working in an upstairs office when she spotted a strange man outside a window, according to Walton County Sheriff Joe...
