CP wrote, "As I’ve mentioned before, you never make any money waiting for the market to pick a direction. Buy when the market is selling and sell when they’re buying and be decisive when the market lacks direction." Be decisive? OK, when the market lacks direction, should we be deciding?

A Good Week For Gold

The silver/gold ratio is NOT 53.1...that is the gold/silver ratio. It appears that the author needs to go back to school and relearn fractions!

Gold Recovery Continues

The silver/gold ratio is not 53.5...that's the gold/silver ratio! If jobless claims fell 388,000 last week, then jobless claims would have fallen to almost zero, because the previous week's jobless claims were revised to 389,000.
Thanks to our decrepit public education system, there are a lot of people out there who are, for all practical purposed, functionally illiterate.

Mish wrote, "Gingrich is a fool if he really believes he can bring prices down that low without other devastating consequences such as a massive recession and 13% unemployment." Say what!? How does cheaper energy lead to "a massive recession and 13% unemployment"!?

Rise of "Paul Power" Only Helps Obama

Medved writes, "When pressed, he [Ron Paul] often brings up conspiracy theories like FDR knew about the attacks of Pearl Harbor weeks before hand." That's not a conspiracy theory. We broke the Japanese naval code, knew the attack was coming, and moved our aircraft carriers out of harm's way. Medved needs to do more research. He makes Ron Paul look like a scholar.
It's kooky to support the notion that we should know what the government is doing!? It's the PEOPLE who are supposed to enjoy privacy, not the government!

Republican Voters' Choices

I used to have a lot more respect for Thomas Sowell, until he started putting down the only candidate who talks about the Constitution as something worth taking seriously. About Ron Paul he writes, "But does anyone seriously want to put the fate of this nation in the hands of a man who can casually brush aside the danger of nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran, the world's leading sponsor of international terrorism?" Why doesn't Mr. Sowell talk about North Korea? Using Sowell's logic, shouldn't we be attacking North Korea? Why the double standard?

Ron Paul is Dangerous

Mr. Barber mentions Iran but conveniently overlooks North Korea! Why the double standard; why the hypocrisy? Using Mr. Barber's logic, we should be attacking North Korea. Matt Barber and his neo-con, globocop buddies are far more dangerous than Ron Paul. Regarding social issues, there are choices in a free society: You are free to make something better of yourself, but you are also free to screw up. Mr. Barber would take us back to Prohibition. All that did was entrench organized crime in American society. It didn't work with alcohol and it's not working with drugs. But the druglords are rich and happy.
Finally, a Townhall columnist who actually understands Ron Paul!
