The people you mention had their own agendas, which the JBS did not support, so, they left in a huff. I know more than you realize. Now, what is your agenda? What other groups are you after?

I am aware of all that, just as I am aware than many people have left many organizations. The bottom line is that the JBS has done far more good than harm.

Thanks, but I don't need to, as I've known about the JBS since the 1960s: http://www.ourrepubliconline.com/Article/27

It's hard to believe that Paul Greenburg is a Pulitzer Prize winner, if this commentary is any indication as to the quality of his work. Nowhere did Greenburg provide any evidence from the John Birch Society's website to prove his claims. His article is little more than a hatchet job and a smear.
Declassified documents reveal that the Japanese were sending out peace feelers through neutral countries. They just wanted the institution of the emperor to be maintained. But the U.S. insisted on unconditional surrender and nuked two Japanese cities. The Japanese surrendered and we allowed the institution of the emperor to continue. In other words, nuking Hiroshima and Nagasaki was unnecessary and, hence, a horrific tragedy. It could be argued that, ultimately, nuking Japan was done to send a message to the Russians.
I live in Appleton and I can assure you that Joe McCarthy does NOT hold considerable influence here. In fact, several years ago his bust was removed from the lobby of the county courthouse where he had been a judge, before becoming a U.S. senator. The bust was given to the county museum, where it was briefly put on display for a special exhibit, then put into storage.
Scottie Hughes wrote, "Despite one of the most aggressive ECD campaigns..." ECD = Early Childhood Development? East Coast Destruction? Executive Council on Diversity? Why are writers too lazy to spell out what they mean?
Ann wrote, "Liberals are obsessed with controlling what other people do." So are conservatives such as Ann. For example, they want to stop you from smoking marijuana.
SPLC definition of "hate group": If the SPLC hates you, then you are a hate group.
Ditto.
