Toadass, here is a link to a report (done in Canada) proving the falsehood of many of your statistics and pointing out that the Canadian Healthcare (and the UK for that matter) aren't the models of proficiency as you like to profess: http://www.city-journal.org/html/17_3_canadian_healthcare.html Now quit your lying, son.

This is from a conservative think tank. If you read the article in its entirety, it's full of red herrings and conservative buzz words. Basically, it's a fear piece meant to misinform conservatives who are already gullible in thinking healthcare is a bad thing.

The report fails to mention the 50 + million uninsured in the US. If all these people got healthcare, there would be waiting times extended. The report is a thinly disguised propaganda for free market medicine and fails to account for the inferior infant mortality rate of the US other than to blame the fact that our nation is more violent than Canada. Any dhumass would immediately recognize that health insurance companies will take money out of the healthcare delivery for profit, salaries, and marketing.

You were a teacher???? Seriously? Critical thinking and reading comprehension must have been way over your head. What does uninsured people have to do with the study I linked to? Using your logic, if we insured all of these people, then waiting times in the US would be far worse than today - and how does that help our healthcare system, Toadass? This is thnly disguised propaganda - from a Canadian study, right? Because it exposes your LIES, you do not like it - but it has indisputable facts. There ARE significant wait times for primary care in your vaunted Canadian system. There are significant shortages of doctors; the rate of survival of many cancers is higher in the US.

Also, it points out that included in the US healthcare costs are all of the costs of R & D - the study also points out that one cancer center in Texas spends more on R & D than the entire Canadian HC system does. Yeah, I'll take our system any day. Sure there needs to be some reform but the free market, which includes the evil profit, is still far superior.

A new report out from the Congressional Budget Office reveals ObamaCare will leave 30 million people without health insurance.

Currently, accoriding to CBO, there are 53 million uninsured persons in the United States, including uninsured illegal aliens. The CBO estimates that in 2022--8 years after the Affordable Care Act has been fully implemented--30 million people will remain uninsured.
