In WWII, when we were developing the a-bomb, if Obama had been in charge, we would have stopped developing and producing the best weapons for our military, because the a-bonb would solve all the war problems so why keep producing those old fashioned weapons we were "addicted to", like P51 mustangs? Guess he's a nice guy, but massively incompetent to run our country-unless it is to run it into the ground!

I had learned in college in the 50's that socialism was a left leaning philosophy, fascism was a right leaning philosophy, both eventuating in dictatorships. Dennis Prager writes that one reason Jews tend to vote democriatic is their hsiorical fear of the RIGHT, citing Nazi extemes. Please clarify.

Remember the quote of John Adams (1735-1826): that all man are born to equal rights is true. Every being has a right to his own, as clear as moral as sacred as any other human being has-but to teach that all men are born with equal powers and faculties-is as gross a fraud , as glaring an imposition on the credulity of people as was ever practiced
I'm impressed that the antiright venom is getting even worse thatn before, perhaps as a response to the observation that a conservative tsunami may wash them away in the upcoming elections, and that's driving them nuttier than even previously!

Just a question. If WW II saved our economy and brought us out of FDR's massive govt spending, wasn't WWII another massive govt spending deal? How did it end the depession? Did it stimulate private enterprise that much?
I think the basic problem is that Obama was dissed by the "man" and responded just as any street smart tough would do. Guess he learned a lot organizing communities. dikdok

What other profession is paid for from the "winnings"?(horse racing and Las Vegas don't count). Remember, a winning malpracitce verdict pays ALL medical expenses, ALL economic losses, but growing "pain and suffering awards" pay the attorney at least 1/3, after all of his expenses come out of the plaintiff's putative winnings. It's been extimated here on the east coast that the plaintiff eventually gets less than 50% of the settlement, the rest going to court cost, lawyers and other "costs". Oh. by the way, if a frivolous suit is found against the plaintiff, after the defending doc spends immense treasure and emotional pain from the legal attack, the loser doesn't pay a cent! What a sweet deal! Bring on the Health Courts and other...
