Biden’s Post-Earthquake Survival Advice: Use a Shotgun

Joe is partially right probably by mistake. In many situations, I would rather have a shotgun, preferably a pump shotgun, than an assault rifle. I close quarters, the pump has a lot of advantages. In other situations, I would rather have a rifle, preferably an M1A in 7.62x51 NATO, with at least five 20 round mags as backup. There are times when one could need heavy firepower to preserve life. The ability to meet force with force is the greatest liberty one can have. With rights come responsibilities. One has the right to own arms and the responsibility to prevent their use to harm innocents.

for all-around use,a rifle is much better;
you can use it for hunting most game,for home defense,anti-riot,for militia purposes.

the Second Amendment is not about hunting and's about the people retaining the ability to "alter or to abolish" a government gone bad,as written in the Declaration of Independence.
the Founders had just overthrown their own incumbent government (Britain) by FORCE OF ARMS,and recognized that it might have to be done again in the future,thus the inclusion of the 2nd Amendment protecting the People's right to keep and bear arms.

That is why there's a big push to ban these arms,especially the militia weapons.

And they KNOW that Jay and that's why they must be confronted on the issue and not allowed to lie and obfuscate it. We need to keep chanting "Shall not be infringed" right in their faces until they get the message..WE run this nation, WE built it barry, we just hire you clowns to represent us and when you stop doing that we will replace you force if necessary because THAT is what the 2nd amendmet is all about.

During an online “fireside” chat about gun control, Vice President Biden took the opportunity to offer some advice: For post-earthquake protection, a double barrel shotgun will keep you a lot safer than those “assault weapons.” Pretty bizarre coming from the man who led the gun violence task force—but then again, it’s just ‘Joe being Joe,’ right?

"So you want to keep people away in an earthquake? Buy some shotgun shells."
