I argued with my wife's former boss before the '08 election because she insisted that the LoWV was non-partisan. She also claimed Obama was pro-life. She was kind of an idiot that insisted that only Obama could save us. 4 years later she's gone bankrupt, lost her business and had a nervous breakdown. I told her that just visiting their website would tell anybody how far left they were.

The League of Women Voters boasts that it presents "unbiased nonpartisan information about elections, the voting process, and issues." Phyllis Loya always assumed that meant the organization believed in presenting both sides of issues to its members, but recently she discovered she was wrong.
