This goes on all the time in Chicago but the Democratic machine keeps it covered up. Obama and Co. transported the Chicago Way to Washington and used it like they never left home. Bribes? Done. Patronage? Done. Demonization and lying? Done. Why expect more from an immoral, unethical and power hungry mob of politicians?

And this is exactly why Big Government is the problem. The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen. There is no accountabiliy and more importantly, no PENALTY to be found for this type of conduct.

Canada also didn't have then Bill Clinton, Joe Biden and Barney Frank pressuring the banks to extend loans to high-risk borrowers "protected" by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac which would soak the taxpayers for unlimited subsidy of losses. In other words, it is the Federal Government (Congress and a former President) who secured our doom with their inept policy crafted from ideology instead of empirical data!

Ignorance = Power (sad but true)

In they eyes of The Left, equality of opportunity is not enough. They seek equality of outcomes regardless of the terror they inflict on others.

If Barrack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Barney Frank are the "quality leaders" offered by The Left then we should elect sugar-laden 5-year olds to replace them--they will cause less damage.

Every good progressive knows that this accident is Bush's fault. He gutted the regulatory agencies that would have prevented this from occuring. The child's injuries are on his head. That is the position of the Obama Administration.

The legislature has no business intervening or regulating this area. The lunatics in Sacramento have completed lost the idea of limited government. George Will had an excellent article today about how "progressives" keep inventing rights. They perceive every human desire that goes unmet as a problem to by fixed since every human should has the "right" to happiness. Therefore, if they're not happy, its the government's duty to intercede and "fix the problem".

What a joke. This state has a $20B deficit and this fool is off wasting time drafting and presenting worthless legislation of this ilk. The lunatics have taken over the assylum!

A very wise older man I know always says, "When you act irresponsibly, you shoot yourself in the foot, your kids in the leg and your grandchildren in the heart."

The "open-minded" liberals of the sexual revolution and Great Society shot their grandchildren through the heart. Baby-boomers have strong convictions and are often in error. A catastrophic combination. We need a new generation of leadership who will actually confront issues and deal with them in practical ways--even if they don't "feel good" or make everyone "happy". It is clear that those in their 50s to 70s today aren't capable of doing it.

We are exceptional in the relative sense just as the Chinese believe in the exceptionalism of China and the Cubans believe in the exceptionalism of Cuba.

I apologize for the gross injustices American perptrated on others around the world. Everyone is free to come to my nation and support my policies. I welcome you. That is all that matters.

I can't give you a definition of enough but I know it when I see it.

My Supreme Administration must ensure that greed is subdued so that I may provide a living wage to all our hard working civil servants.

Certainly none of our productive civil servants, the backbone of our society and productivity, have made enough. We must give them more so that they can pay more taxes.

Now that the Congress unanimously approved my healthcare reform bill, we can focus on welcoming the 12 million honest souls who came to our party without an invitation.

As our brothers and sisters in humanity they deserve to feast on the fruit of our labor. Anything less would be inhumane and racist.

In response, they will praise and worship my greatness and pledge their loyalty to me as I build my utopian society.
