In response to:

Where is the Clergy When We Need Them?

Republicans have called for cuts in the estate tax for wealthy heirs, while increasing taxes on the working poor. Republican budget proposals called for getting rid of tax credits, food stamps, and other programs for the working poor while lowering tax rates paid by those in the top brackets. On the Christian side, try Mt. 6:24, 2 Cor. 8:9, Prov. 29:7, Mt. 19:20ff, Mt. 25:31-46 etc "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will hold to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Which may account for the Republicans' (Romney's) class war against 47% of the American People. This is what the clergy is condemning, and will continue to do so,

Gentle Readers,

On the contrary; Republican tax policies have reduced the tax burden for the working people,
often reducing their tax burden to zero.

Wayne Allen Root has a column on that topic currently at TownHall.

The inheritance tax hits small business and family farms the hardest.
Family farms are about 500 acres valued at $8,000 -$ 15,000 per acre is minimum $4 Million in land assets, plus machinery with a combine at $250,000, tractors at $125,000, etc. Are they the people you intend to hurt with the inheritance tax? They feed America, yet you believe that they don't deserve to hand down to the next generation, but instead confiscate over 50% which will require the sale of the land. If you want more corporate farms, then inflict the inheritance tax so that they are all gone in one generation.

Me thinks the "47%" Romney talked about are those who are already hooked on welfare, food stamps, WIC, etc, etc, etc, etc. (all 20 something of these programs that they know backwards, and forwards)

It is profoundly unchristian to lie as you have done in your post.
How do you suppose the courts would view a letter from a teacher to her students ending with the wording, “I reciprocate your kind prayers for the protection and blessing of the common Father and Creator of man”?  A little awkward for 21st Century English, but this is how Thomas Jefferson ended a letter that he wrote in January of 1802.  Was Jefferson acting in violation of the U.S. Constitution by...
