When you get to the age when your medical care is rationed, I'd like to hear your comments. Always interesting when the shoe is on the other foot.

Read my reply above. There ain't no money in doctoring anymore. Would you be willing to spend eight years in medical school knowing that your ability to earn a living would be limited by law? Not me!!

My eighteen year old granddaughter, who had decided to go to medical school at the age of thirteen and had been studying as much a she could to enter that profession, recently told me she had decided not to to go. When asked why, her answer was "What's the use?" She, like all of us, has recognized that 8 years of school and lots of debr without the opportunity to make enough money to ever repay her school debts was a just too reisky life style. How many others are making the same decision?

And that's why the second amendment was written AND ADOPTED in the first place

It's not where you go to school but what effort you personally put into your education and what you expect to get out of it. Parental involvement is an absolute must!!!! Public universities are as good or better than most of the so called elitist schools. Look what Harvard gave us?

ADD ON: Went back and read the article again. Where does Dr. Sowell talk about genetic differences? I must be blind because I can't find it.

Totally disagree with "genetic differences between racial groups", Hired too many of all ethnic groups over the years and found that all performed equally well if the standards were set high enough and we demanded total adherence. "Nuff said. What an education that was!
