That would actually be a strategy: move a lot of Republicans out of solidly-red states into 'light blue' states to change the demographics. You don't want the Democrats to get a 'lock' on the presidency by securing too many electoral votes.

Ain't that the truth. I am already looking into moving to one of the FREER States, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, etc.

Our city was forced to provide a certain number of low income housing units. The crime coming out of there is significantly higher than the surrounding area, despite the occupants living a lifestyle similar to their middle class neighbors. Free housing, food, healthcare, and education hasn't changed the outcome. Our high school dropout rate has gone up, and there is a heroin problem in the area now. I recently read a newspaper from a small town in another state and they were talking up the low income housing coming to the area as if it were something fantastic! Hire some more police officers. That's my advice to them.

I expect that by the time you read this, President Obama will have been re-elected. Get ready for four more years of Big Bloated Government.
Hurricane Sandy didn't help.
The New York Times declared "a big storm requires big government," and my liberal neighbors agreed.
My science-challenged mayor, Michael Bloomberg, said the storm makes it imperative that America do something about climate change. He said this even though hurricanes have not increased and little evidence exists that man has much effect on climate. With Obama's re-election, we now will spend billions more on "green" strategies. But the Earth won't notice.
