All revolutions run into trouble when the have achieved their initial aims - the aims that sparked support. One can see this in the NAACP, and other ex-leaders such as Jackson and a stretch Sharpton. The real challenge for the racial revolution is to focus on the target of a post racial society which clearly was the objective of Dr. King. with culture not color. The current crop of "leaders" seem to be focusing on separating the races. the reverse of "separate but equal" - with "separate and unequal". This is unlikely to end racial problems but then there are now too many people with a vested interest in continuing the struggle
