Why Do Democrats Hate American Manufacturers?

Demonizing an industry is not unheard of in America. Porn and tobacco are examples .It does not seem to put them out of business. The gun manufacturers will find other places to make and other ways to sell their products. I'm not a smoker, in fact, I can't stand it, but other than bans on smoking in public accomodations, I am against most if not all of the lawsuits and regulations that seek to make it difficult for them to do business. I am not a gun enthusiast either. But, I still oppose the laws which will do nothing but consumers more money and possibly even drive manufacturers away from states or the country. I am not a Michelle Malkin enthusiast either, but I would not see her put out of business either.

Meth labs get treated rather shabbily as well. What's that all about?

That's the kind of stupid question we'd expect from an idiot like you and your massa in the white house.

What the!! I voted for Willard Mitt Romney. Who gives you the right! I happen to also be a libertarian, which is more than you can say.

So a libertarian would post this on another site? "As a Democrat I am glad anytime Palin chooses to speak in public. One definition of insanity -- keep doing the same thing and expect different results."

Bill, I can explain. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I am a Democrat, and on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays I am a librarian. I take the weekends off.

I'd venture a guess that most "librarians" are liberal, and it's okay, lots of liberals like to pretend they're libertarian. Witness you and ericynot.

No libertarian would vote for Romney.

That's what ericynot says, too. But to paraphrase Darth Vader, "Your posts betray you."

Actually, I so badly wanted Obama to lose that I voted Republican this time. I've been voting Libertarian for years. I prefer to vote Libertarian or Constitutional parties, but default to Republican over Democrats if no other choice is offered. Where only one candidate is running, especially if a Democrat, I write my name in and vote for myself.

I have never seen a silly libertarian. They are very angry people. Because Ron Paul is not running the country.
Marie150 Wrote: Feb 22, 2013 9:27 PM
You are just a silly person. I hope you are not getting paid for this.

Then God bless you NavVette.
Here's the latest example of head-splitting cognitive dissonance in Washington: President Obama used his State of the Union address to crusade for a revitalized U.S. manufacturing sector. But while he pays lip service to supporting businesses that build their products on American soil, Obama and his left-wing operatives are hell-bent on driving a key sector of the U.S. manufacturing industry six feet under: the American firearms and ammunition industry.

The White House is pushing new government spending to "spur economic growth," protect manufacturing plants and "create good-paying jobs" to help America's middle class. Yet across the country, with aggressive lobbying by the...
