This makes it quite clear that it is the government’s role to not only guarantee my life, liberty, and happiness, but provide me with the means to pursue and guarantee these unalienable rights. And, with the last 2 presidential elections, we (the majority) gave government the consent to take from you to provide the majority with whatever we need for our life, liberty, and happiness.

But I sympathize with you. I can remember listening to a presidential inauguration speech 53 years agi from an insensitive, heartless Neanderthal who actually said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country." Thank goodness we now repudiate that repugnance and have become humane and compassionate to those who lack the will to work.
