I would like to see the GOP make a point of repealing Medicare Prescription or raise revenue to PAY for it. That is the fiscally conservative thing to do. Also some revenue mechanism needs to be put in place to pay for all the costs incurred in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm sick to my stomach that so many Americans sacrificed and died over there while 99% of Americans simply watched it on TV, enjoyed a tax cut and went shopping.

During the White House press briefing today, press secretary Jay Carney said that the White House found out about the Petraues affair the day after the election, despite that the investigation into the situation had been going on for months. The FBI knew about it, Attorney General Eric Holder knew about it and the affair was known as an "open secret." Carney refused to answer questions relating to why President Obama didn't know about the situation.

"I would refer you to the FBI and the Department of Justice," Carney said.
