Ultimately I would have to agree with your sentiment. A world without guns and violence would be great. However, that is not reality. Violence exists, it is out there and it is a real danger. The question you have to ask yourself is whether you will sit down and become a victim if violence strikes, or if you will take the necessary steps to protect yourself and those you love. Millions of responsible, law-abiding gun owners have made that choice and the only people who get hurt are those who wish them harm.
