Whether we like it or not, illegals WILL be given some sort of legitimacy. The true conservatives have to make the best deal possible, starting with securing the border BEFORE anything else even happens. I would. NOT oppose 4 years of front line military service as one path to citizenship, but would NOT allow guard service to suffice. I mean active duty front line life on the line service in the infantry for the "dream act" kids to even be considered (yes, both men and women).

Likely fellow 2016 GOP presidential rival Marco Rubio has taken some heat from the conservative grassroots for being the face of "comprehensive immigration reform" (or what many conservatives call amnesty).
