The "newer " Union members got LAZY, didn't attend meetings, and initially the "mobs" or racqueteers" began to take over the Unions! Even these individuals got LAZY and turned over the Unions to the " LAWYERS" who were a part of the problem in the first place! Before unionism the goverment was mainly composed of LAWYERS who did nothing to assist the WORKER with the horrendous working conditions! The enemy are the "attorneys"! Why is it that attorneys get a piece of all pies? You all appear to be concerned with the $58/hr of an auto employee. Why aren't you concerned with the $400/500 the attorney's are paid? They "reap" approximately 1/3 -1/2 of the poor slobs who get injured working in many Shops that are yet unsafe!

The culpability for the rise of "crooked unions" lies in the mind-set of the people who belong to these organizations. Unions were formed because Employers abused the worker by various means: e.g. unsafe working conditions, employment of children, long work hours with no overtime pay, "fired" because of personality conflicts or no logical reason, wages were practically subsistence levels, no respect for human rights of employees,and many other abuses of "HUMAN RIGHTS"! All who oppose "unions" should acquire some knowledge of why they were formed in the first place and the terrible price paid by those who formed them! Hundreds were beaten, maimed, and often killed by "company Goon squads and police"

The Dems have been promising the "poor" free gifts since FDR and they don't seem to realize they are not "poor" any longer! The government and large corporations can flip the conversation concerning taxes and tax rates to mean anything they wish! This is the most significant of all purposes in having the super gigantic tax code in existence!
