In an April 2013 address on NPR, Sen. Reid said, “All within the sound of my voice — including my Democratic senators and the Republican senators who I serve with — should understand that we as a body have the power on any given day to change the rules with a simple majority …". And he has the gall (notice I did not use the term cajones) to accuse Sen, Cruz of trying to change the rules he doesn't like. I wish Sen. Cruz would have mentioned this in his retort.

Yesterday on the Senate floor, Majority Leader Harry Reid called Cruz a "schoolyard bully" after he dared to question Reid over tactics being used to raise the debt ceiling. Cruz responded by saying, "I wasn't aware we were in a schoolyard."

Cruz is concerned about Reid raising the debt ceiling without a proper vote or input. Imagine that.
