It is obvious you don't get it. Government & politicians are not the solution to the many problems of life...they are the problem.

The choice is quite simple individual freedom & liberty or a collective utopia, in which only fools believe in a utopia. Man is imperfect, therefore his institutions will be also...life is not without risk. When you whine to politicians & gov't to smooth out the rough spots on the road of life, then you give up your freedom and liberty, and invite a whole host of new problems that did not exist prior to the meddling.

You castigate Dr. Sowell for not offering a solution, did you not understand a word of what the man...

Good riddance...one less thug in power! This economic idiot we call our president, will always be on the wrong side of what is the right thing to do.

If the last 6 months doesn't give one reason to pause, nothing will. What has he or his administration (foreign policy or domestic wise) done that is just and right?

You just can not see what a BIGOT you are, you are blinded by your own racism, you see everything thru a prism of race. True conservatives did not agree with Bush and his actions when he made bonehead moves. The difference is, Bush got called on his actions by conservatives.

We just have to educate the blind, one at a time. Just doing my part.

There is a reason why ammo & firearm sales are off the chart. Just like millions of us could see where an Obama adm would take us. Freedom & liberty lovers also see where all of this can lead.
