Americanism is based on a strong belief that you work hard and are self sufficient and take care of your own first. If you have excess you look to help your neighbors. We are the most generous people on earth and will get along just fine without big brother looking over our shoulder. Plus as our founders said: Stay out of foreign entanglements. We have over 700 foreign bases world wide and most hate of for being in their country. Our Constitution will serve us just fine, so we need leadership that will honor it. I think Ryan may have the cojones to bring us out of our decline we have been in for over 20 years.

Governor Mitt Romney's choice of Congressman Paul Ryan as his vice-presidential running mate is one of those decisions that seem obvious -- if not inevitable -- in retrospect, even though it was by no means obvious to most of us beforehand.
