If god did not want us to eat animals then they should have been made from something other than meat. Why aren't dogs on the menu, societal quirk is the answer. Just like the Indians don't eat cows.foolish but it happens. If the PETAns don't wish to eat meat then don't,I respect their resolve. But the do not get to impose their belief on others. If they cannot live with the guilt of others eating meat they should opt for suicide.

If only right-wing so-called Christians would live by that simple common sense rule, Republicans might not have performed so poorly in the last election.

"Right-wing so-called Christians" are more tolerant than sanctimonious liberals who feel compelled to run other people's lives for them. For example, "right-wing so-called Christians" allow you to participate or not participate in any religion you choose. While liberals force you to fund abortions, birth control, research in the quazi science of man made global warming, and prevent you from purchasing 100 watt incandescent light bulbs.

Democrats won the last presidential election because they told those with itching ears, the lies that they wanted to hear, but it won't improve the reality that they will continue to experience.

Wow, Gayle90, so many false assertions, so little space.

Suffice it to say - you're either mind-numbingly misinformed of the FACTS or you are a liar.

No tax payers "fund" abortions or birth control (oh, the horror - I bet you use or used it). Why don't you KNOW this?

If you know nothing of climate science you can keep quiet instead of embarrassing yourself.

And it was George W Bush who signed the light bulb efficiency bill into law - dumb-a$$.

And I challenge you cite the "lies" Democrats told.

Guess I was wrong - there was enough space to debunk your misinformation...

Come out of your bubble, Gayle.

Well, as money is fungible, I suspect tax payers are funding abortions.

It seems the settled climate science is less settled than you want it to be.

And yeah, the light bulb law was sorta stupid, as I can know buy a 99 watt bulb...

As eager families travel to relatives’ homes this week to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal, they may be surprised by billboards from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals discouraging holiday merriment. The billboards are targeted at children, reading “KIDS: If you wouldn’t eat your dog, why eat a turkey? Go Vegan.” People for the Ethical Treatment of Animal’s latest advertising ploy in Nevada and California is sure to make people lose their appetites.

The animal rights group even took its attack on traditional Thanksgiving dinner all the way to the White House. On Tuesday, PETA...
