In response to:

Cleared of Ethics Charges, Maxine Waters Ready to Write Bank Laws

All of your criticism is considered praise to Maxine's supporters. Diverting a $million to her family members and $12 million to her husband's bank are considered shrewed moves. She will use your column as a campaign ad next time she runs. Remember that Marion Barry was re-elected in the city of Washington, Charlie Rangel won 91% of the vote in New York, Jessie Jackson Jr. was re-elected in Chicago, Obama was re-elected with Nancy Pelosi. The Democratic brain trust all survived.

How true. The bigger crook one is, the more likely they will be elected in the democrat party even if you are in a mental asylum. Honestly, do the democrats have a single standard at all.....any kind of a hint of morals or qualifications? Dems love crooks and thieves.

It helps when places like Detroit have a 49% functional illiteracy rate. That's why they must have candidates party listed so the dems will know who to vote for. The DOJ sued a NC town to keep them from removing the party affiliation from the candidates name and even had the gall to state so "people would know who to vote for." They are dumb and crooks.

Jefferson with 90K in the freezer. The impeached judge in Florida.

The last time we met “This Old Socialist,” Congresswoman Maxine Waters, (D-Delusional), she was being probed for “ethics violations,” which is fed-speak for “things for which you and I go to jail, but which is legal for congress.”

Waters, then, was gamely trying to vie for a leadership position on the Financial Services Committee despite a dogged investigation regarding her finances and influence peddling that had dragged out for months. She was doing so in the wake of the announcement that the committee’s ranking Democrat, Barney Frank (D-Dope) (pun intended) was leaving congress to fulfill his lifelong dream of getting married...
